Steve Vilas

Steve Vilas was inducted on February 2nd as our newest member. A recent resident of Turlock, he is a lifelong resident of Stanislaus County having grown up and lived in Ceres until his recent move to our community. Steve graduated from both Ceres High School and Modesto Junior College.

Steve and his wife Arlene have two grown sons, one of whom is the husband of Carrie Vilas - also a member of our club. He has been in farming his entire life and currently grows almonds on several different parcels of land in the Ceres & Turlock areas.

When not working Steve enjoys camping in the mountains and on the coast as well as both snow and water skiing.
